This is a 7-week fully residential program of which 15 days are in classroom and 27 days are in-field/ in-market. In role of a Territory Business Executive, you will have team-management responsibility managing atleast 5 route-agents/ distributor sales representatives, and will be expected to lead them in the market from the front and ensure productivity and sales targets are achieved.  A graduate joining the organization as a  fresher will otherwise take anywhere 

between 5 to 10 years to reach this role.


The training will be conducted at Manipal Sales Academy at Salarpuria, Electronic City, Bangalore.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM   


Yes the program offers confirmed job, however that is dependant on the participant qualifying in the in-market tests conducted by Manipal Sales Academy Trainers. The Program is structured in such a manner, that you will be absorbed on the rolls of the distributor provided you have passed all the in-market tests conducted by Manipal Sales Academy Trainers. The in-market tests are the practical application of knowledge and skills for which you have undergone training at the Manipal Sales Academy.

Applying for the role on the LP of Manipal ProLearn or re-direct from the respective Distributor’s website or through sourcing partners.



You will be required to submit the following documents before the course enrolment:

  • 10th Marksheet
  • 12th Marksheet
  • Graduation Certificate
  • PAN card & AADHAR (Mandatory)
  • Driver's License



No – this program is only for graduates, and Post-graduation is optional ie. PG is not a disqualification. However, those who have completed graduation/ PG and have 0-3 years of experience are eligible for applying.



You will have to through an online aptitude test, followed by a telephonic interview round by Manipal Prolearn Academy and finally by the distributor HR team. Then you are given the provisional offer letter by the Distributor HR. You will be given the final offer letter with joining location at the end of the 7-week sales training period, provided you clear all the tests.



You will get the Certificate on the last day of the 7-week Training Program provided you have passed all the qualifying tests in in-market and in-class.

The sales academy will conclude with an assessment. Almost all candidates clear the assessment due to the rigour of the academy. If you don’t, you will be given a second chance to write the assessment within a week. If you still do not clear the exam you will not be given the final offer and will have to forfeit the money you spent.


ABOUT THE JOB   


"Territory Business Executive" is a role that is a team-leader/ team-manager role and is expected to make sure that sales, distribution and visibility targets are achieved in the given set of routes. The focus of distribution for these TBE will be Small and Medium stores only. Typically each TBE will manage atleast 5 DSRs who will be servicing their respective geography routes for Small & Medium Stores.



If you qualify the academy, you will be a offered a job on the payroll of an Authorised Distributor of Procter & Gamble. In your case it will be a Distributor. P&G does not have any TBEs on their payroll, and hence you will not be on the payroll of P&G.



Yes, the role needs you to travel to the market of the area the distributor covers. Hence, flexibility to travel is a must for the role.



The hiring is for specific locations only. This will not be a transferable job.



We want to build expertise in the geography/location. We prefer candidates who are from the same location and have experience working there. There will be minimal/no location changes.



You will report to the Sales Manager of a Distributor.



Yes, you will be part of annual performance appraisal process and will be eligible for annual increase based on performance.



You are being hired for "Distributor Partner" who is an Authorised Distributor of P&G and you will be on the Distributor payroll as a permanent employee. You are not on P&G payroll.


ON-THE-JOB TRAINING & INTERNSHIP   


Training will be fully-residential in Bangalore at Salarpuria Electronic City and hostel will be provided in Woodstock Bangalore.



Yes- the classroom training plus in-market training will happen in Bangalore.



OJT is conducted in Bangalore and is interspersed with classroom days. There is no stipend paid during this entire 7- week duration which includes OJT in-between for 27 days.

PROGRAM USP

It covers the classroom training, in-market training, boarding & lodging for the entire duration of the 7-week program in Bangalore. It also includes laptop use for all 7-weeks, assessment and examination, and access to LMS for duration of 7-weeks and later during the duration of the post-program support of 6 months.



It does not include travel to Bangalore and travel from Bangalore to the Distributor Site. It also doesn’t include lunch and intra-Bangalore travel cost during the 27 market days. We recommend you should have resources and be prepared to spend about Rs. 500 per day in local travel and lunch costs for the 27 in- market days.



The local travel cost and lunch cost during period of 27 days of in-market training (during the 7-week duration) has to be borne directly by the participant. Also participant needs to bear his own cost of travel from his residence-to- Academy for joining the program and his travel cost to his final place of posting after completing the program at the Academy.



No – you have the option of booking your seat by paying only Rs. 10,000 plus taxes (Rs. 11800) and the balance to be arranged through own loan arrangements. Manipal can help enable the same, but all the EMIs including interest costs have to be directly borne by the participant. However, the entire fees including loan disbursal has to be arranged before entering the Academy.

You will be asked to pay an amount of Rs 11,800(10,000+taxes) to Manipal Prolearn when you receive the provisional offer letter on the Distributor Company’s letter head. This payment can be made either by DD/ NEFT/ UPI etc. You have to pay the balance amount before you arrive the Manipal Prolearn Academy in Bangalore.

Yes, the course fee of Rs. 1.18 Lakhs is refunded for successful aspirants once they join their work location. The course fee is refunded in two tranches – one at the end of 6 months and the second tranche after 12 months.

Provided you qualify the in-class and in-market sales academy training, you will be offered a role at location within the distributor territory. During your very first year, the distributor will pay back the program fee of Rs. 1.18 lakh in two instalments- half the amount at the end of the first six months and then balance at end of 1 year from date of joining.

The compensation will be INR 3.3 lakh per annum plus above Training Reimbursement in first year. The Distributor HR Executive will take you through benefits in addition to salary like expense reimbursements, target-based incentives and perquisites.



No, if you fail to clear the Academy qualification - you lose in every way – no job, no refund, and no certificate-of- completion either.



Any indiscipline in campus / hostel can lead to summary dismissal and eviction from the program, without any refund.
