A sales career can expand horizons for someone who has potential. Firmly believing in this thought, Mohit has carved a career path for himself that utilizes every essential skill set to help him evolve.
He says, “How much you want to earn and grow depends solely on you.” And with this motto as his driving force, Mohit has proved that the sky is the limit for him. Also, his hard work and determination have helped him bag a job in one of India’s leading brands, Unibic India Foods Ltd.
So, for his limitless passion to grow professionally and super hard-working nature, we crown Mohit Dogra as our Manipal ProLearn Student of The Fortnight. Let’s find out a bit more about his journey towards success.
Sharp skills, solid results
If one is the master of his career in sales, it becomes very important for a sales professional to sharpen his skills. Be it better people handling skills or the confidence and ability to handle difficult situations. Mohit says, “To enter into a specific field, we need a complete understanding of the process chart of that field and that’s where training through a professional course is required.”
Guided by family, mentored by professionals
Mohit didn’t have to search hard for the right program to help him sharpen his skills. He revealed that his uncle was heading a Sikkim Manipal University training centre and guided him to enrol for Manipal ProLearn’s School for Jobs. “It proved to be sound advice as I liked the program and got a great job offer from it,” adds Mohit.
For Mohit, studying in Bangalore had turned out to be a great mix for his overall development. He found the training sessions, the study material, and presentations to be very effective.
Mohit shared that the two months of the classroom training program was very interesting. He also said, “Every morning we were all used to be tensed for our role play session. However, by the evening, we used to laugh at our own role play. But our entire batch was very helpful, and we all worked together to improve each other’s performances.”
Mohit’s final interview was good though he was not much prepared beforehand. He added, “I just delivered what we learnt during the training.”
Celebration time
However, when he broke the news to his family and friends, they were very happy for him.
A placement in Unibic India Foods is a great opportunity to reach your true potential and Mohit is determined to give his best to meet the company’s expectations. Being a believer in self, he’s certain that there are many interesting stories to be made in the time to come.
We congratulate Mohit once again for his amazing feat and wish him luck for his future endeavours.
